Location: 7960 North Old State Route 37 -- northeast corner of North Old State Route 37 and Newt Fulford Road. It's about 9 miles north of Bloomington, 1.1 miles north of Anderson Road, and 1.9 miles south of Chambers Pike (Hindustan).

Directions from Bloomington: drive north out of town on highway 37. Several miles north of town there's a BP gas station on the right; it's the only gas station between Bloomington and Martinsville. Continue on the highway past the gas station about a quarter mile, and turn right onto Sample Road. Follow Sample Road until it ends, at Old SR37. Turn left onto Old SR37. Go 1.65 miles to Newt Fulford Road. Turn right onto Newt Fulford and immediately left into our driveway.

Small, cute getaway home, in a quiet area with a beautiful country view.

Conveniently located midway between Martinsville and Bloomington. We've been using this house as an artist's studio for about 12 years. We've been very happy with it, but now can't afford to maintain the extra property, so we are regretfully selling it.

Rear view of the house, with the lot falling steeply to the rear.

There is a small deck at the back of the house, giving a gorgeous view of the wooded valley and hills to the east.

This is a two-story house, 19 years old, total 672 square feet of finished space:

384 sq.ft. on the ground floor, comprising a kitchen with dining nook, a living room, and a full bathroom. (Drawings are rough and "eyeballed"; scale is probably off.)

Living room, at the front of the first floor.

Bathroom, between the living room and the kitchen. Full bath, toilet, and sink.

Kitchen, at the rear left of the first floor.

Small dining area to the right of the kitchen. There is a laundry nook to the right of this picture.

288 sq.ft. on the second floor, with two bedrooms with closets, and a half-bathroom. The reduced size of the floor is due to the sloping roof.
Bedroom area to the rear of the second floor. We are currently using this room as an artist's studio.

Bedroom at the front of the second floor.

View from the front bedroom to the larger rear bedroom. The stairs come up on the left. A small half-bath is to the right. There is built-in shelving separating the stairway from the rear bedroom.

The half-bath (toilet and sink) on the second floor.

Both bedrooms have closets.

We have just installed a Presby septic system, fully compliant with current health codes.

We replaced the electric baseboard heating with a forced-air furnace and central air-conditioning system, and have hooked the home up to Vectren gas. We have also installed linoleum flooring in all rooms, and new carpeting on the stairs. We have also repainted the house, and we have "tightened up" the insulation of the crawl-space under the house, to protect the plumbing against freezing.

The house is on Washington Township Water, and South Central Indiana REMC electricity.

The house is in excellent shape for such a rock-bottom price.

If you are serious about considering this house, call us and we will come out from Bloomington and show it to you.
